Through skills training and other supports, particularly networking, you can focus your job search on finding a job that is right for you and right for your employer.
All sessions are held at:
North Way Christian Community, 12121 Perry Highway, Wexford, PA.
The Skills Program consists of six core and other selected presentations providing a strategic and tactical approach to job search. Sessions are held Tuesday evenings from 7-9 p.m.
Participants can begin anytime; there is no set order and pre-registration is not required. The $75 fee defrays the cost of the provided materials. It can be paid up front or through a generous payment plan. Some places of worship pay this fee for their members.
Finding Your Gifts (FYG) Workshop is a three-week sequential introductory level workshop covering how and why you work. This workshop has no prerequisites. Currently this program schedules three cycles per year, currently held on Wednesday evenings from 7-9:30 p.m.
You may register for the next FYG cycle at office@ptwo.org. The $50 fee can be paid upfront or through a payment plan.
The Career Marketing Workshop (CMW) is a 10-week sequential intermediate level workshop, starting with FYG and continuing for an additional seven weeks. It covers detailed marketing issues and plans for a job search.
This program schedules three cycles per year, currently held on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m. The CMW prerequisite is completion of the Skills program or prior approval for outplacement services or related experience/training. You can register/obtain prerequisite approval at office@ptwo.org. The $150 fee includes the FYG fee.
The Sr. Executive/Professional Group for seasoned professionals and executives meets from 5-6:30 p.m. every Tuesday. Discussions cover advanced job search topics and techniques.
Pre-approval is required so if the program is of interest, please forward a request with resume to office@ptwo.org. This program can be attended concurrently with other programs. Fee for attendance is $5 per session.
The Priority One program is facilitated by program creator Ed Smith. This is a biblical and spiritual look at job search and other life trials. It has no fees or pre-requisites. The group meets every other Tuesday beginning at 6 p.m. Individuals can attend Priority One and also participate in programs beginning at 7 p.m. Please Contact Ed Smith (esmith@msa.com or 412-965-2453) for more information.
